A stimulating environment designed to nurture, inspire and in which we have fun every single day, Magic Garden Children’s Day Nursery Moortown provides the highest standards of care and education for babies and children up to the age of five.

Children at our setting progress from small groups in our cosy baby rooms all the way up to our interactive pre-school, where we cover all elements of the Early Years Foundation Stages. We provide a fabulous range of exciting learning opportunities, helping to prepare our children socially and academically for primary school.

Our lovely nursery features a fabulous, spacious outdoor area that provides all our children with a unique world of exploration and discovery that will aid both their physical and emotional development! Our amazing outdoor space has plenty of exciting features including a sensory garden, storytelling campfire area, planting area where we grow our own vegetables, mud kitchen, dedicated baby garden and much much more!

At Magic Garden Nursery, we take pride in our team of nursery practitioners. They’re an incredible group of individuals who are constantly updating their skills and knowledge with regular training on everything from child development to safeguarding, first aid and specialist training in Special Educational Needs. Our practitioners are completely dedicated to creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment for our little ones to thrive in. We believe in nurturing the potential in every child, and our team is here to make sure that happens every day.

Delicious healthy food

Our our own onsite chef is on hand t our children are nurtured with fresh food and a nutritionally balanced diet every day.

Our menus run on a four-week cycle offering a different range of meals each week, so that your child has the varied diet required to help them develop their tastes and make healthy choices in the future.

All our meat is locally sourced, our eggs are free range and we use seasonal vegetables where possible some of which are grown in our own garden.

We serve delicious meals inspired by a variety of different cultures. As a result, our children get to discover an exciting range of tastes, smells and textures. By keeping our menus interesting we aim to teach our children that trying new food is exciting, not scary, and that healthy ingredients can be transformed into something amazing!

Working together with you

We work hard to build strong relationships with our parents to help give our children the best possible start. One of the ways we do this is by giving you access to your child’s very own online learning journal. This easy-to-use resource gives you valuable insights into your child’s learning and development journey through nursery. We are always available for daily conversations about your little one’s progress and to share all the exciting things they have done.
