Welcome to Playdays Nursery in Blackrod.

Our mission is to nurture, inspire and have fun every day – so we ensure we have everything in place at our Blackrod nursery to deliver just that.

Enter through our door and you’ll discover a world packed full of stimulating environments, interesting resources and exceptional outdoor areas. You’ll also find a caring and highly qualified team, dedicated to providing your child with exciting learning experiences that will see them develop and flourish.

At nursery we’re always keen to get out and about and extend our children’s outdoor learning experiences. Situated in the heart of Blackrod village and within easy reach of both Adlington and Aspull, our convenient location means we’re not only ideally placed to go on lots of exciting trips into our local community but we can also take advantage of fabulous local woodland areas, in which we run our regular and hugely popular Forest School nursery sessions.

Working Together

We work hard to build strong relationships with our parents to help give our children the best possible start.  One of the ways we do this is by giving you access to your child’s very own online learning journal. This easy-to-use resource gives you valuable insights into your child’s learning and development journey through nursery. Equally as important, we’re always available for daily chats about your little one’s progress.
